Question: I noticed that many of the topics in my study path were not assessed. Do I need to retake the test?
Answer:
This is normal behavior for EdReady. The diagnostic test (the first one you take in your study path) rarely covers all of the topics that your study path covers. Each school decides what topics the diagnostic should cover. For this reason, the diagnostic is even scored differently than a normal test so that you aren't penalized.
It also may help to understand that EdReady is not a one-time, high-stakes test that you would need to retake. The diagnostic tells EdReady what you already know and what you need to work on, and allows the system to build a customized study path for you. So rather than retaking the test, you just continue to demonstrate mastery by studying and taking tests until you reach the target score set by your school.
