There are a few things you can try if your diagnostic test is not working. This might mean that your submit button doesn't work, or you see a blank test question, or things seem frozen or stuck or broken.
- First, you can try just closing your browser, then logging back into EdReady.
- If that doesn't work, the most common solution is to clear your browser's cache, then log back into EdReady. This will ensure that you have any recent updates that have been published to EdReady. If you need instructions on cache clearing, check out http://refreshyourcache.com
- You should also make sure that your browser is up to date. Check the version number, and visit the browser's website or Wikipedia to see what the most current version is. Or you can Google "what is the latest version of {{insert name of browser here}}".
- Try a different computer and/or a different browser. We like Chrome and Firefox best, but no matter what you change to, you will be in a different environment that might work better. Of course, that does not mean the problem is solved, but you might have a workaround.
Ultimately, we want to solve the problem. So if none of these solutions work for you (or you just found a workaround and you really want it to work on your preferred browser or device), please get in touch with us and provide the following information:
- Name of your school
- Name of the Goal you are working on
- Name of the Assessment you are taking
- Question ID of the question you are stuck on (this is a 6-digit number)
It also helps if you tell us the kind of computer or device you are using, and the name of the browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer) and the version number if you know it. If one worked, and one did not, let us know that, too.
We will be happy to help you move forward as quickly as possible.
