Math and English are handled differently when it comes to Spanish translation or ESL/ELL support.
English
EdReady provides supports that will be useful for teachers working with ESL (English as a second language) students and ELLs (English language learners). However, there is not a direct English-to-Spanish translation. Please see more details HERE.
Math
The default study tools include an alternate version of the Topic Text and Glossary in Spanish, and the Presentations are closed-captioned (CC) in Spanish. All questions for the diagnostic, unit-level tests, and topic-level tests are in English. This screenshot demonstrates where each item is on the topic home page.
Presentations
Spanish closed captions can be found by clicking the CC button in the video, then toggling to Spanish at the bottom of the right sidebar.
Topic Text
The Topic Text is the comprehensive study resource for the entire course. While presentations and worked examples are provided for additional learning context, the Topic Text modules, when taken together as a whole, comprise an entire math textbook.
The Spanish version of the Topic Text can be toggled by using the buttons labeled English/Spanish in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
The Topic Text is the 4th item on each Topic Home Page (screenshot above). Once opened, the student can toggle back and forth between Spanish and English in the textbook.
Glossary
The Spanish version of the Glossary can be toggled by using the buttons labeled English/Spanish in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
