The following bug fixes, new features, and improvements are now part of EdReady (v1.69) and NROC Portal (v1.17), as of June 26, 2021.
EdReady Improvements and new features:
- In the EdReady Reports, added Portal Categories as columns (on-Screen and email export)
- Upgrade the platform to Java 11.
- Added the category values to the sequenced API report, the student individual report headers, the Topic Detail Report, the Unit Detail Report, the Student Summary Report, the Student Data Report, the Student List Report, and the Milestones report API.
- Created API to support Read of Custom Fields from EdReady.
- Created API’s to support Update Custom Field values from Portal, and pass Custom Fields to EdReady Internal SSO
- Designed and created an API to create, edit and delete student Custom Fields and tenant Custom Fields.
NROC Portal Improvements and new features:
- Added required email field to the Portal registration.
- Upgrade the platform to Java 11.
- Added all group/institution goals as filter options in reports.
- Terms of Use linked in the footer of every Portal page is adjustable for each tenant.
- The goals displayed on the Student Registration page are editable.
- Added custom fields values to Student List Report.
- Enabled custom fields in Portal via LTI/SAML.
- Student custom values can be save/modified in three different views: registration form, edit profile, and student profile.
- Added a new category types: date and freeform field.
EdReady Bug fixes:
- No longer showing the same student several time in Student Data report.
- Updated custom fields in Student Data Report so they are no longer blank.
- Updated custom fields and category values in Student List Report so they are no longer blank.
- Allow user to edit a custom field on the settings tab without seeing an error.
- Updated Notifications Tab so that it loads as required.
- Updated label for email to be “email” instead of the incorrect label “username”.
- Updated so custom fields changes are saved
- Updated custom fields so date and text are being sent by SSO.
- Fixed a bug with target score reached when a student reaches a score of 100.
- Changed the Event Tracker messages so that they are asynchronous.
Portal Bug fixes:
- Fixed emailed audit report so that it is not empty.
- Fixed how the Donut Charts look (they were previously not displaying correctly).
- Updated application so that site admin users do not have group permissions and the Institution Selector is not available.
- Fixed the student tab so that it shows the students. Also fixed a console error 403.
- Updated Portal so when filters are applied there is not a console error when running the sequenced report.
- When adding a student category value, fixed the title so it does not show params.
- When a student registers on an institution in Portal and adds the custom fields, fixed the values so that they are being stored correctly in EdReady.
- Fixed an issue that custom fields were not persisting when creating a user.
- Updated student registration form to show the required custom fields.
- Updated student registration form so that the Register button activates when all required fields are filled in.
- Fixed Portal 500 errors when changing student password, when creating admin users, and when opening the custom fields page.
- Fixed error when editing and deleting a custom field as a student.
- Updated admin role to allow adding category values.
- Fixed an error when creating custom fields from a student list.
- Fixed a few error messages so that what is being displayed is more clear.
- Updated to show the custom fields values on the student list table.
- Fixed domain filed so that it filters.
- Fixed Portal 405 errors when archiving an admin user and when archiving a group and using the same button restore the group.
- Fixed option tab label so they display correctly.
- Update Portal to have the same color statuses as EdReady.
- Updated functionality so that once a student has registered and then confirmed the account, the student can log in without having to create another password.
- Updated so that all user-inputted text displays as dark black.
- Donut charts titles were updated to be dynamic and show study paths
